Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage, Stirling, Ontario, celebrates the culture of rural Ontario and the importance of agriculture and the farmers who provide us with safe, local food. A lot is happening this summer. Coming Events hightlights some of the main events. The RCMP Musical Ride at the Stirling Fair Ground is on June 8. You can come and visit the horses over that weekend. Our Seventh Annual Strawberry Social is on June 24 and Grand Parents' Day is September 9 with The Tebworth Brothers and Lynzi Couch and Wrought Iron Roots. Visit Heritage Village, our unique streetscape with over 18 different stores and workshops from the 1930s. Find out about cheese and butter making, the development of farm machinery, and the need to protect top soil. Visit our one-room school house and explore the new Discovery Centre with the amazing Jack Ward Collection of toy trucks, tractors and cars. Come on a Museum Tour. The Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage is open every day from the Victoria Day Weekend until Labour Day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the last admission at 3 p.m. The museum is open at weekends in September. Please call beforehand if you would like to visit at any other time. Adults-$8, Seniors (60 and over)-$7, Students-$6, Children 5 years to 12 years-$4. Family-$24. Seasonal passes are available.
