CLICK HERE TO WATCH A TOUR OF THE MUSEUM WITH ROY BONISTEEL.

The history of Hastings County and the surrounding area comes alive at the Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage; from the early days of cheese making, through the evolution of farm machinery to the unique Heritage Village, which depicts a typical village of the
1930s -1940s era.

Numerous artifacts are displayed according to their place in history

  • See the barn with the dairy cows and look for the ducks.

  • See the cheese factory with the cheese hoops, cheese vats and the curing room.

  • Wander through the six buildings each of which are different, but all of which give you a nostalgic glimpse of our past, and let you learn something about agriculture, which we all depend on for food.
